Unit is fully furnished with spacious and fully equipped kitchen. Lanai overlooks breathtaking ocean sunsets and Waianae Mountain range. Separated bedroom has California King size bed, air conditioning, private bathroom with Jacuzzi tub and spectacular morning views of both the Waianae mountains and the sea. Second half bath off main living area, pull out couch, air mattresses to sleep up to 4 others. Heated salt water pool in courtyard along with BBQ grills for cookouts by the pool or bringing back to condo to overlook ocean sunset. See whales breaching in the winter months, the occasional monk seal sunning on the shore, or the tranquil Sea Turtle swimming in the waves….all from the comfort of your easy chair. Single assigned parking spot, air-conditioned bedroom, TV cable and free Wi-Fi, towels and linen, complete kitchen, and common laundry facility, all to make your stay an unforgettable experience.
The Location
Located on the west side of Oahu, Maili Cove is about 15 minutes from the Ko-Olina, home of a beautiful 18 hole golf course, Paradise Cove Luau, Disney’s Aulani and the new Four Seasons resorts, 4 beautiful lagoons, plenty of shopping and restaurants, easy access to golf courses, a water park and 35 minute drive to the airport , 45 minute drive to Waikiki and downtown Honolulu. Nearby city of Kapolei is considered the second Honolulu, and is quickly building shopping malls, restaurants and departments stores, and handy place to gather supplies. Coastal road to Maili Cove is a beautiful drive, but can be heavily traveled during morning and afternoon rush hours.
Transportation
Rental car is recommended for grocery shopping, sightseeing and transit to and from Airport. "The Bus" is the islands mass transit system and goes to Maili Point, however is a long commute to Honolulu, with many stops. We have found that www.google.com/flights provides many options for getting to Oahu, and for our Michigan friends and family, we have learned flying out of Toronto cuts the costs in half.
Guest access
Maili Cove is a gated and secure 3 story condominium complex; key access provides you access to solar heated salt-water pool, BBQ grills, and to beach with outdoor showers. Each unit has assigned parking spot w/guest parking available. Condo rules and keys provided at check in.
Terms & Costs
14 day minimum stay, in order to see and do everything this island has to offer, but you will want to stay for longer. See reservation calendar for available dates
Fees: $159/night ($179/night for Christmas, New Years and Thanksgiving Weeks ): monthly discount available.
Added Charges: $150 one time cleaning fee, GE taxes (4.50%) and TA Tax (10.25%), no booking fee
Payment Schedule: 25% due at time of reservation confirmation, balance (75%) due 30 days before stay.
Refunds: 100% refund with cancellation before 30 days, 50% refund between 15-30 days out, 0% refund inside 15 days.
Payment Accepted: Will take VENMO, personal check, money order or cashiers check. Unit can also be booked through AirBnB, but an additional 3% service charge will be charged by AirBnB.
